With Ratchet straps being the most used product in the transport industry, there are thousands of these items which have no clear avenue for recycling.
With this, we’re excited to introduce to you that Tegral is starting to revolutionize the ratchet strap industry. We’re a team of engineers and designers who are passionate about upcycling and sustainability.
This recycling effort assists in addressing the ratchet strap’s sustainability issue. Ratchet straps may be recycled, repurposed, and reused by being turned into fresh, innovative items.
The upcycling initiative aims to use cutting-edge technology to address Australia’s most pressing issues.
To better achieve this, we will offer bins for disposal on-site, collect the bins, recycle any usable components within, and then appropriately discard any parts that cannot be put to use again. Uses include shredding straps for use in other polyester goods, testing and recycling hook and keeper so they may be utilised in ratchet straps once more, and recycling straps for the fashion sector.
Tegral is eager to collaborate with transport firms to create strap recycling techniques that benefit all stakeholders.
