The National Transportation Commission’s high-level update on the Australian Dangerous Codes happens every two years. They are currently in the process of conducting a full review of ADG which is expected to give us a more comprehensive version of the codes.
The NTC will share details about what could change and the process they’ll follow while reviewing the code in the upcoming webinar on the 23 of June.
In this review, Australia will have the opportunity to better align with international and intermodal practices, and leverage international processes to ensure all aspects of the codes are regularly updated.
The Updated Australian Dangerous Goods Code (the ADG Code) is planned to be released in 2024. What are your thoughts on this matter?
