Qube has officially acquired Colemans, a leading Western Australian transport, logistics, and storage business, for approximately $119 million. The deal, finalised on 21 August 2024, was funded through Qube’s available undrawn debt facilities. Colemans specialises in the Security Sensitive Ammonium Nitrate (SSAN) supply chain, with assets including high-security storage sheds located in key WA mining centres.
Qube Managing Director Paul Digney highlighted the strategic significance of this acquisition, noting that it positions Qube to enter the WA SSAN supply market and drive further growth. The acquisition is expected to deliver operational improvements and synergies within 24 months, providing a platform for future expansion in the region.
